Columbia, S.C. (WACH) — South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, alongside lawmakers and law enforcement, is urging the swift passage of a state bill designed to expedite the process of obtaining subpoenas to track child predators online. The current federal process can take weeks or even months, delaying critical investigations.
“When you’re dealing with a case in which there could be an actual child being harmed, an actual child being abused, time is of the essence,” said Wilson.
